Presenter Guidelines
Submission Process
The submission process for PROCAIS follows a structured workflow to ensure high-quality publications.
1. Paper/Report Submission
Authors submit their papers/reports via the official PROCAIS submission system (Open Journal Systems/OJS), ensuring compliance with the Annual International Symposium of Foreign Language Learning (AISOFOLL) Full Paper Guidelines. The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the work’s alignment with the current AISOFOLL theme, completeness, and adherence to ethical standards. If clarification or additional data is required, a member of the editorial team will contact the authors before deciding whether the papers/reports proceed to peer review.
2. Peer Review Process
The papers/reports undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two subject-matter experts, who assess their contents, novelty significance, and ethical considerations.
3. Paper/Report Selection
Papers/reports which are considered making significant contributions to language education and proven to be the authors’ original work proceed to the next stage. Announcement of the selected papers/reports is available in this platform.
4. Coaching Clinic and Revision
Authors receive detailed feedback, including necessary revisions. If major revisions are required, authors are invited to a coaching clinic session. There, they receive direct guidance from experts to enhance their work. Once the feedback has been incorporated, authors submit a revised version that addresses all reviewers’ comments.
5. Presentation at the AISOFOLL
Accepted papers/reports must be presented at AISOFOLL, where authors deliver an oral presentation as per the symposium schedule.
6. Final Checking and Publication
After the symposium, authors submit the final version of their papers/reports, incorporating any necessary modifications. The editorial team, conducts a final checking to ensure quality and compliance. The approved works are, then, published in PROCAIS and made available in an open-access format.
